Wendy Tan Siew Inn, Founding Partner, based in Singapore

A consultant, writer and speaker, Wendy Tan integrates wholeness at work so we act with wisdom for greater good. A Chinese with a Western education, Wendy brings together Western thought and Eastern philosophy so we act in alignment to our context.She partners with clients in the Asia Pacific region and government agencies to develop and engage their human capital.She is an accredited facilitator of Peter Block’s Flawless Consulting and Beverly Kaye’s engagement and career development solutions, and an authentic, heartful and thought-provoking speaker on these topics.Formerly a police psychologist and an organization development consultant in GlaxoSmithKline, she has graduated from Pepperdine University (Masters of Science in Organization Development) and National University of Singapore (Psychology Honours). Wendy facilitates in English and Mandarin. Her articles have also been frequently published in industry magazines.

Lee Kang Yam, Founding Partner, based in Singapore

Kang Yam (KY) is the Chief Learning Curator at The Flame Centre. He curates new ideas and practices and infuses them into his consulting, design and facilitation work. KY believes that humanity is the last hope for business. He sees potential in each individual, alive with possibilities and a work in progress. He works with organisations in the area of performance improvement and workforce development. He is a master trainer in Beverly Kaye’s engagement and career development solutions, as well as a certified trainer in Peter Block’s Flawless Consulting. A curriculum development practice leader, he works extensively in the adult learning space and is currently pursuing his PhD in Adult Learning with National Institute of Education. He has a Masters in Business Administration and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

LX Tan, Senior Consultant, Flame Centre

A leadership coach and team facilitator, LX infuses experiential learning in all his engagements through a strengths-based approach. He has been facilitating leadership and team development experiences with organizations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong. He also consults with clients on change initiatives and serves as an executive coach. LX’s extensive corporate experience spreads across the technology, military, education, manufacturing, FMCG and professional services industries. LX was formerly the Head of Learning Solutions at Harvard Business Publishing (Asia Pacific) and Head of Talent Development for 3M Singapore. A certified Solution Focused coach with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, LX has graduated from RMIT University with a Masters of Education (Leadership & Management).

Lucy Lei, General Manager, Flame Centre China, based in Guangzhuo, China

Lucy’s personal mission is to support people in their journey towards growth and fulfillment. She believes in building relationships and serving others through impactful training and development initiatives. An accredited trainer in Beverly Kaye’s Career Development and Engagement solutions, she has worked with many organizations in China to address problems of engagement and retention. In addition, Lucy specializes in issues of 80/90s employees and has successfully designed solutions to help organizations manage them better. Before joining Flame Centre, Lucy was in various marketing and brand management leadership roles in Citicpru Life Insurance Company and Guangzhou Metro Advertising. Lucy has graduated from Guangzhuo University,has a Master’s degree from Open University in Hong Kong and a diploma in Marketing Management from Orange Coast College, United States.

Eric Francis, Senior Consultant, based in Japan

Eric Francis firmly believes to succeed in today’s world, a global mindset and global skillset are essential to making a difference. His passion is to develop global talent.Incorporating his international experiences and know-how, Eric currently delivers programs to many companies throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He is also a certified facilitator in the following programs: CareerPower®, Love ‘Em or Lose ‘Em®, InsideOut Coaching, Ken Blanchard workshops and DISC. He received his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and has a B.S. in Business Management & B.A. in Japanese from Brigham Young University. He delivers training in Japanese, English, and “Globish” (Global English).

Paul Wang, Senior Consultant, based in Beijing, China

Paul has been a trainer, facilitator, coach and organization development consultant since 1996. Paul specializes in leadership development, management skills, problem solving, decision-making processes, communication, team building, personal effectiveness, and thinking methods. Additionally, he is also certified in the following programs: Flawless Consulting, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and Six Thinking Hats. Paul graduated from Capital Normal University (Beijing) and New York State University’s graduate school TESL program (Teaching English as Second Language). Paul also serves as translator and cultural guide for many western thought leaders visiting China. He has completed his graduate studies in Pepperdine University’s Master of Science in Organization Development program (MSOD).

Dr. Pauline Arneberg, Founding Partner, based in Los Angeles, United States

Pauline is a veteran organization development consultant, professor at University of Southern California and a part-time citizen of Singapore for the past 27 years. She believes all development is self-development; that whole people create positive workplaces where people serve others, the organization, and the nation. Pauline has worked with many Singaporean Ministries and has been based at the Civil Service College. Pauline’s career has also been anchored in the global marketplace. She has worked in Bahrain, Jordan, Pakistan, Botswana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia as well as Singapore on projects funded by host countries and the United Nations, the World Bank and USAID. She has worked with scores of American organizations as well.

Peter Block, Founding Partner, based in Cincinnati, United States

Peter Block is an author, consultant and citizen of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. His work is to bring change into the world through consent and connectedness rather than through mandate and force. His first visit to Singapore awakened him to a miracle. Singaporean values of community, family and care for the whole challenge most of what is dominant in the west. Peter comes to Singapore to support and learn from our culture. Peter is the author of several bestselling books such as Flawless Consulting, Stewardship, Empowered Manager, The Answer to How Is Yes: Acting on What Matters. He has received national awards in the US for outstanding contributions in the training and development field. Peter is also a partner in Designed Learning, a US-based training company.
